Social networking giant MySpace announced an agreement with fellow News Corp. unit Fox News Channel to launch uReport, a new citizen journalism community enabling users to submit photos and videos from a computer or mobile device. According to MySpace, the partnership--its first with Fox News--offers members the opportunity to share their user-generated content with the rest of the social portal community as well as cable news viewers: uReport users can upload video and photos tagged by specific news categories, including USA, World, Entertainment and Politics, and content may be featured on Fox News Channel and foxnews.com. The uReport community will also feature profiles of Fox News anchors, enabling MySpace members to link to network personalities
